Brand History

The name Montgalet alone evokes the southern lands of Pays d’Oc, where our vines have long been a feature of the landscape. Tasting these wines is an experience rich in connotations. Scrubland, coast and pebbles heated by the sun. All these geographical factors add to our terroir to produce delicious wines, with warm yet refreshing flavours. Let your imagination do the rest…

Pays d’Oc

Pays d’Oc IGP wines are produced in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France, which covers the departments of Pyrénées-Orientales, Aude, Hérault and Gard. Between the mountains and the sea, the wine benefits from a temperate Mediterranean climate and excellent exposure.

The expanse of this vineyard means the vines are planted in an incredibly rich variety of soils. Some fifty varieties offer a wide range of red, rosé and white grapes, ideally suited for the international market. The wines of Languedoc-Roussillon are France’s leading high-quality varietal wines, renowned for their excellent value for money.

The spirit of the South

The entire Montgalet range is produced under the name “Pays d’Oc – protected geographical indication”. This one guarantees 100% of its origin and assures you a quality of wines from grape varieties worthy of its region bathed in sun. In order to offer you an authentic experience, our wines are 100% composed of the same grape variety. You can find this ease of reading on all our packaging.
